Song Of The Day: Notorious Insanity- Jamiroquai/Notorious BIG (1996)

Anyone who knows me well knows I am all about good vibes. There is nothing I love more than a perfect ambiance, a great glass of wine, and some good vibin music. It's amazing what a little music and candles can do. Well friends,  I present to you my new favorite "good vibe" song of the week. I have no idea what it is with me and biggie smalls remixes, but I have at least 4 or 5 that are always my "go-tos."

Zach Sobiech was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 14. This video is a short documentary of his life during the past 5 years and how he truly lived each day to the fullest.

I got upset today because I woke up with a huge zit on my chin and because my dad was playing annoying music in the car. Wow. I honestly can disgust myself sometimes. WE ARE SO LUCKY. We live in a world that is obsessed with THINGS. Things, things, things. A nicer car, a tighter body, a larger paycheck, and better instagram pictures for god sakes. We are searching and searching for happiness in the world, when it is right in front of us staring us straight in the face. Happiness is all around us.  Happiness is the people who love us, the roof over our head, and the memories we create. I am guilty, along with millions of other people of being so critical of everyone and everything. God has blessed me with this life, and it is time I start being more grateful. It is so easy to get caught up into the worldly ways of our time. But if we can make a conscious effort to appreciate each day, I think our world and our attitudes would be a lot different. We have this perception grounded into our brains since birth that there is a certain way to live our lives. Our entire lives revolve around creating this "ideal big picture" of what we want our lives to be. What I realized today is that we all need to start appreciating the things that may seem little, because later on they will be the big things.

Zach wrote a song before he died called "Clouds." It's actually really good. You can download it on iTunes for $.99.
RIP Zach Sobiech. What a beautiful life you made.
