Mos Def and Tailb Kweli have always been two of my favorite hip-hop artists. They have a real sound and always bring something unique to the table. When I first heard the song "Forbidden Fruit" it took be back to the Def and Kweli days. Kendrick Lamar is a newer artist on my radar, but I'm loving what I've been hearing so far.
